An easy to make ladoos which is very nutritious too. Rice ladoos or laddus are made with rice as the main ingredient and also contains green gram, nuts, coconut and jaggery.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Rice

  • 1/4 kg Green gram

  • 1 kg Jaggery

  • 5 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 1/4 cup peanuts

  • 1/4 cup cashew nut

  • 1 Coconut (dry fry)

  • 10 cardamoms

  • Ghee 1 cup

Directions

  • Dry fry the rice till they get puffed.
  • Powder it along with cardamom
  • Dry fry peanuts and cashew nuts
  • dry fry the scraped coconut
  • In a wide vessel add Jaggery and 1 cup water, start heating in low flame till it melts.
  • Add fried peanuts, sesame seeds, and cashew nuts.
  • Add dry-fried coconut.
  • Add rice powder and mix it, switch off the flame and immediately try to make Ladoos as the mixture will get hard if it gets cooled down.
