Ambode with Lobia seeds
Ambode – Lobia seed / Alasande Kalu Ambode / VadaCourse: SnacksCuisine: IndianDifficulty: Medium
1 cup Lobia beans, Alasande Kalu
3 Garlic cloves
3 green chillies
3 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves
4 sprigs curry leaves
2 finely chopped onions
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
- Soak the Lobia beans overnight
- Next day grind it along with ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt to a paste. Do not add excess water while grinding.
- To the above-mentioned ground beans paste, add chopped onions, coriander leaves, curry leaves and mix it well.
- Heat oil in a pan and make small flat vadas as shown in the picture and deep fry till brown.
