Ingredients

  • 1 cup Lobia beans, Alasande Kalu

  • 1″ Ginger

  • 3 Garlic cloves

  • 3 green chillies

  • 3 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves

  • 4 sprigs curry leaves

  • 2 finely chopped onions

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for frying

Directions

  • Soak the Lobia beans overnight
  • Next day grind it along with ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt to a paste. Do not add excess water while grinding.
  • To the above-mentioned ground beans paste, add chopped onions, coriander leaves, curry leaves and mix it well.
  • Heat oil in a pan and make small flat vadas as shown in the picture and deep fry till brown.
