Shahi Tukda Recipe – A Royal Treat

There are different Shahi Tukda Recipe. I have made it in a simple way. I have used less amount of ghee, hence I have pan-fried it than deep frying. Deep frying gives a too rich taste. I like it to be crisp hence just dip it for 5 seconds in the sugar syrup. If you want soft shahi tukda, dip it for a longer time. I have not used milkmaid, you can use it but do not add sugar to the Rabdi. Looks complicated but very easy to prepare and if you have a sweet tooth it will be finished in no time.

I like to enjoy this as soon as it is ready when the bread is still crisp. We are in the festive season and Almost every day is a festival in the Indian calendar. Life is short, eat desserts first … I do this… do you? 😉
